TEATHER REVIEW

On October 29th in the afternoon, I went to University of Trilogi to watch some theatres at their theatre fest event but I found it difficult to understand the plot because the duration of the theatre was too short. So at night (on the same day), I decided to go to Museum Perumusan Naskah Proklamasi to watched a theatre tittle “Sang Saka” who directed by Rudolf Puspa and all the characters played by Teater Keliling community. This community has been established since 1974. There was almost nothing that I could complain about. All of the actors and actress were amazing, they played their role well and it seem like that was the real them. In addition, I really love imaginary time scenes, when the characters realized that they were wrong and cried out loud, it made me want to cried too and when the characters sang the national anthem got me goosebumps because I really amazed of their voice. The costume and make up were also great.
There were two things that I wanted to complain and those two things were connected: the stage and the lighting. This theatre took place outdoor and the audience just sat on a field. There were just two lighting on the right side and the left side. The actors and actress could freely enter the field from the corner and the actors and the actress were also free to talk to the audience without ruined the script. It really made us close to the actress and the actors but, the problem occured when two characters came in the same time but they came from different side (the first one came from the right side and the second one came from the left side) it made us confuse to look at them in the same time. The characters also made us move our head and body, if they came from the back and because the lighting was only two, it made me cannot see it clearly. So that was the disadvantage of theatre outdoor. If we were too lazy to move our head and body when they came from the back, it made us miss the scenes and could not see their facial expression clearly. But most of all, the story of this theater was awesome. It made us always remember about the history of our country, the sacrifice of our heroes and heroine but in modern way. So I said once again, I really proud of the director and all of the characters.
THE SYNOPSIS
Sang Saka told us about the story of three friends who reunited for an adventure in search of treasure that was booming on social media. The characters also said some booming things on social media like Awkarin,  Dimas kanjeng, and PPAP (Pen Pineapple Apple Pen) without ruined the script (or it was really in their script maybe), so that was why I said that the director used modern way to tell us about history to avoid us to felt bored.  In search of this treasure, could reveal the secret from everyone and answered the reason why they became the nation's youth who forgot about the history of our countries, the sacrifice of our heroes and heroine, and eliminate their love of the country. They finally found the treasure they were searching for. But the treasure was not what they imagined before. Treasure that lead them to an imaginary time, to the other dimension, the time when Soekarno declared the independence days for the first time which could make them realize the importance of all that the heroes and heroine had done to our country and continued their struggle to make Indonesia better.
